Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Beach Benz website located at https://beach-benz.com and the automotive repair services provided by Beach Benz at 7492 Slater Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92647 (“Services”). By accessing our website or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or Services.

Services

Beach Benz provides automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostic services specializing in Mercedes-Benz vehicles. Our Services include, but are not limited to, engine repair, transmission service, electrical diagnostics, brake service, suspension repair, air conditioning service, pre-purchase inspections, and classic Mercedes-Benz restoration.

Service Estimates

All repair estimates are provided in good faith based on our initial inspection and diagnosis. Actual repair costs may vary if additional problems are discovered during the course of repair. We will contact you for authorization before performing any work that exceeds the original estimate by more than 10% or $200, whichever is greater.

Authorization

By leaving your vehicle with us for service, you authorize Beach Benz to perform the agreed-upon repairs and services. Written or verbal authorization is required before any work begins. We will not perform unauthorized work on your vehicle.

Parts and Materials

Unless otherwise specified, Beach Benz uses genuine Mercedes-Benz OEM parts or OE-equivalent parts from original equipment manufacturers (Bosch, Mahle, Lemforder, etc.). If you have a preference for specific parts, please communicate this before service begins.

Replaced parts are the property of Beach Benz unless you request to retain them at the time of service authorization. If you wish to keep your old parts, please notify us before work begins.

Warranty

Beach Benz provides a warranty on parts and labor for repairs performed at our facility. Warranty terms vary by service type:

• Standard repairs: 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
• Major engine and transmission repairs: 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first.
• Maintenance services: 90 days or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first.

This warranty covers defects in parts and workmanship under normal use. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, accident, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear. Warranty claims must be made at our facility.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of services unless other arrangements have been made in advance. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover).

Vehicles will not be released until payment is received in full. Pursuant to California Civil Code Section 3068, Beach Benz may exercise a mechanic's lien on vehicles for which payment has not been received for services rendered.

Vehicle Storage

Vehicles left at our facility for service are stored at the owner's risk. While we take reasonable precautions to protect vehicles in our care, Beach Benz is not liable for damage caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, theft, or vandalism.

Vehicles not picked up within 5 business days after notification of service completion may be subject to a storage fee of $35 per day. Vehicles abandoned for more than 30 days will be processed in accordance with California Vehicle Code Section 3071.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Beach Benz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to our Services. Our total liability for any claim arising from our Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Beach Benz is not liable for pre-existing conditions in your vehicle that may become apparent during or after service. We will inform you of any additional issues discovered during the course of repair, but we cannot guarantee the identification of all pre-existing problems.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Orange County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The laws of the State of California shall govern these Terms.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of our website or Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
