Wheel Alignment
An alignment set to a generic number is not an alignment. Mercedes publishes specific values per chassis, per suspension package, and often per tire size.
Signs you need this
- Car pulling to one side on a flat road
- Steering wheel off-centre when driving straight
- Tires wearing faster on one edge
- Recently fitted new tires, springs, struts or control arms
How we approach it
We align to the correct factory specification for your exact model and package, including the sport and AMG variants that differ meaningfully from the base car. Before any adjustment we check tire pressures, suspension play and ride height, because aligning a car with a worn control arm simply prints a nice report on a car that still pulls. Steering angle sensor calibration is performed afterwards on cars that require it, so ESP and lane-keeping behave correctly.
What the job includes
- 01Pre-alignment suspension, tire and ride height inspection
- 02Four-wheel measurement of camber, caster, toe and thrust angle
- 03Adjustment to model-specific Mercedes-Benz values
- 04Steering angle sensor calibration where required
- 05Printed before-and-after specification sheet
- 06Road test to confirm straight-ahead tracking
Common questions
How often should a Mercedes be aligned?
Annually, and any time you fit new tires or suspension components — or after meeting a serious pothole, which in Orange County is a matter of when rather than if.
Can you align a lowered car?
Yes. Lowered and coilover-equipped cars need adjustable components to get camber back into range, and we will tell you honestly if the setup you have cannot be brought to specification.
Let us take a look at it.
Call and describe what the car is doing. We will give you an honest assessment before any work begins.
