AMG Service & Repair
AMG engines are not just bigger. They have their own failure patterns, their own service intervals, and their own tolerances.
Signs you need this
- Rough idle or misfire on a hand-built V8
- Loss of boost or supercharger whine that has changed
- Overheating during spirited driving or on track days
- Approaching a service interval on a performance engine
How we approach it
We handle the known items properly: M156 head bolt corrosion and camshaft adjuster wear, M113K supercharger coupling and intercooler pump service, M157 and M177 biturbo cooling and oil work, plus the AMG-specific brake, suspension and transmission service these cars need if they are driven the way they were designed to be. Oil intervals on an AMG are shorter than the car will tell you, and we will say so.
What the job includes

Common questions
Is my M156 going to break its head bolts?
Not all of them do, and the affected build range is known. We inspect for the coolant seepage that signals it and give you a straight answer instead of a scare.
Do you work on cars that see track days?
Yes, and we will set the car up for it properly — fluids, brakes, cooling and a pre-event inspection. Track use changes what needs watching and how often.
Let us take a look at it.
Call and describe what the car is doing. We will give you an honest assessment before any work begins.
