Beach Benz saved my E55 when two other shops said it needed a new engine. Frank diagnosed a failed secondary air injection pump causing the CEL — not the supercharger issue the other shops claimed. The repair was a fraction of what I was quoted elsewhere. These guys actually understand the M113K engine inside and out. I've since brought my wife's S550 here for all maintenance. The difference in knowledge and integrity is remarkable.

I drove past three Mercedes dealers to get here, and I'd do it again. My C300 had an intermittent no-start issue that the dealer couldn't reproduce after two visits. Beach Benz diagnosed a failing EIS (Electronic Ignition Switch) module on the first visit using their Star Diagnostic system. They explained exactly what was happening, showed me the diagnostic data, and had it fixed in two days. My family brings all four of our Mercedes here now.

Finding a shop that can work on both my classic SL and my daily driver is nearly impossible. Beach Benz handles both with the same level of expertise. They rebuilt the mechanical fuel injection on my 560SL last year — a job most shops won't even attempt — and it runs better than it has in decades. For my 300SE, they handle all the routine maintenance with genuine parts. These guys have a genuine appreciation for classic Mercedes.

Transparent service, genuine parts, and they actually explain what they're doing. My E450 needed a 40,000-mile service, and Beach Benz handled it with the same OEM parts the dealer uses — for significantly less. They even showed me the old parts and explained what they found during the inspection. This is what dealer service should be, but isn't.

My ML350 had the dreaded balance shaft issue at 95,000 miles. Beach Benz caught it early during a routine service by checking the camshaft adaptation values — before I noticed any symptoms. They replaced the balance shaft gear, timing chain, and all associated components. The engine runs perfectly, and they saved me from what could have been a catastrophic engine failure. This is the kind of proactive care you won't find at most shops.

I brought my GLS in for Airmatic suspension problems — the car was sitting low on one side and the compressor was running constantly. Beach Benz diagnosed a leaking front air strut and a worn compressor. They replaced both struts and the compressor with genuine Mercedes parts, and the ride is better than new. What impressed me most was the follow-up call a week later to make sure everything was perfect. That kind of personal attention is rare.

My C63's 7G-Tronic was slipping between 2nd and 3rd gear. The dealer wanted to replace the entire transmission. Beach Benz diagnosed a failing conductor plate and worn valve body — they rebuilt the valve body and replaced the conductor plate for a fraction of what the dealer quoted. The transmission shifts perfectly now. They know these cars inside and out, and they're honest about what actually needs to be done versus what the book says to replace.

Beach Benz has been maintaining my E350 since I bought it three years ago. Every visit is the same experience: honest assessment, fair service, quality work. When they tell me something doesn't need to be replaced yet, I believe them — because they've proven over three years that they don't sell unnecessary work. Last visit they even pointed out a minor oil seep and said to just monitor it rather than jumping into an expensive repair. That's integrity.

Even with a newer model, I prefer Beach Benz over the dealer for out-of-warranty work. They have the same XENTRY diagnostic system the dealer uses, and their technicians are more experienced with Mercedes specifically. My C300 needed a brake service and they used genuine Mercedes pads and rotors — same parts as the dealer but significantly less expensive. Plus they actually explain what they're doing. At the dealer, I just get a number.

My S550 had a complex electrical issue — the rear SAM module was causing random warning lights and the trunk wouldn't open. Beach Benz traced it to a corroded connector in the trunk wiring harness. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the part took a week to arrive from Germany, which delayed the repair. But the diagnosis was spot-on, the communication was excellent, and the repair solved everything. They clearly know Mercedes electronics better than anyone I've been to.
